Vaccinations Sudan

Planning a trip to Sudan soon? Preparing well can help make your holiday enjoyable and safe. It is important to note that visiting Sudan carries certain health risks, so vaccinations are recommended and may even be mandatory. The vaccinations you will need depend on factors such as the regions you will be visiting and the length of your stay. Simply make an appointment with us to get personalised travel advice.

Sudan, officially known as the Republic of Sudan, is located in Africa and is sometimes referred to as North Sudan to distinguish it from South Sudan. It shares borders with Egypt, Libya, Chad, the Central African Republic, South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Eritrea. The Nile River runs through Sudan from south to north. Sudan has an extremely hot and dry climate, with average temperatures ranging from 27 to 42 degrees Celsius. Rainfall is rare and mainly occurs between June and September. Although winds can sometimes bring some relief from the heat, they can also lead to sandstorms.
