What must be the minimum distance vision to perform my job?

Function A: per eye V 0.7 and for both eyes V 1.0
Function B: per eye V 0.5 and for both eyes V 0.7
Function C: per eye V 0.7 and for both eyes V 1.0
Function D: per eye V 0.5 and for both eyes V 0.7
Function E: for both eyes V 0.7

Am I allowed to fly after eye surgery?

For all functions, this is permitted under certain conditions. Bi- or multifocal implant lenses after cataract surgery are not permitted.

Am I allowed to fly if I am colour blind?

Function A: Ishihara no errors in first 15 plates of 24 place booklet. If not, then additional examination (Holmes Wright Lantern test). This must be made without errors.
Function B: Ishihara no errors in first 15 plates of 24 place booklet. If not, then additional examination (Holmes Wright Lantern test). This must be made without errors. If not, then approval with restriction: “fly by daylight only” (VCL)
Function C: Ishihara no errors in first 15 plates of 24 place booklet. If not, then additional examination (Anomaloscope).
Function D: Ishihara max. 6 errors in first 15 plates of 24 place booklet. Function E: Ishihara max. 6 errors in first 15 plates of 24 place booklet or can otherwise demonstrate that one is colour safe.
