Senegal, officially known as the Republic of Senegal, is a country in Africa that shares borders with Mali, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, The Gambia, and Mauritania. The country has a variety of climates and is situated in a transitional zone between desert and savannah. Senegal experiences a warm climate, with temperatures ranging from 17 to 30 degrees Celsius. There is little rainfall overall, but most of it occurs between June and October. Overall, the weather is tropical, pleasant and characterised by sunny days and mild nights.
