Vaccinations Indonesia

Planning a trip to Indonesia soon? Preparing well can help make your holiday enjoyable and safe. It is important to note that visiting Indonesia carries certain health risks, so vaccinations are recommended and may even be mandatory. The vaccinations you will need depend on factors such as the regions you will be visiting and the length of your stay. Simply make an appointment with us to get personalised travel advice.

Indonesia is a country located in Asia and, to a lesser extent, in Oceania (Western New Guinea, the Maluku Islands, and East Nusa Tenggara). It is the world's largest island nation and shares borders with Papua New Guinea, East Timor, and Malaysia. Indonesia has a tropical climate. The average annual temperature across the country is around 30 degrees Celsius. Depending on the monsoon, most parts of the country experience a rainy season and a dry period. The rainfall is only fairly evenly distributed throughout the year in Sumatra and Kalimantan. In December, January, and February, it rains between South Sumatra and East Timor.
