Oman, officially known as the Sultanate of Oman, is a sultanate located in South-West Asia, with its capital in Muscat. The country is situated on the south-eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It shares borders with the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen. Oman has high temperatures, with peaks reaching up to 38 degrees Celsius. During the night, temperatures can drop to 19 degrees Celsius. There is little rainfall, with the driest months being in the summer. The sun shines year-round, resulting in warm days. Overall, Oman has a desert climate characterised by extremely high temperatures and little rainfall.
