Saint-Pierre and Miquelon is an archipelago and a French overseas department located in the northern Atlantic Ocean, approximately 25 km off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada. The archipelago consists of the main island, Saint-Pierre, and eight smaller islands: Miquelon-Langlade, Île aux Marins, Petit Colombier, Grand Colombier, Île aux Pigeons, and Île aux Vainqueurs. The archipelago has a cool oceanic climate, with mild temperatures throughout the year, ranging from -5 to 22 degrees Celsius. Rainfall occurs all year round, with an increase during the autumn months.
