Vaccinations Italy

Planning a trip to Italy soon? Preparing well can help make your holiday enjoyable and safe. It is important to note that visiting Italy carries certain health risks, so vaccinations are recommended and may even be mandatory. The vaccinations you will need depend on factors such as the regions you will be visiting and the length of your stay. Simply make an appointment with us to get personalised travel advice.

Italy, officially known as the Republic of Italy, is a country in Southern Europe. Italy shares borders with France, Switzerland, Austria, and Slovenia. The islands of Sicily, Sardinia, and Elba, along with several smaller islands, are also part of Italy. Most of Italy has a Mediterranean climate, characterised by warm summers and mild winters. The north is cooler than the south. In the Alps and the Apennines, there is a polar or highland climate, and it often snows. Sicily is even warmer and receives less rainfall.
