
Aim and result
In this two-day training course for Basic emergency response (BHV'er), you'll learn what actions to take in the event of an emergency at or near your workplace. Your employer has designated you as an emergency response officer, meaning you're at the forefront of the action in the event of an emergency. You'll learn, among other things, how to organise initial support, evacuation of a building, what to do in the event of an accident and how to save lives, while waiting for emergency services to arrive.
Recurrent training
You need to periodically complete recurrent training to maintain your knowledge and skills and to renew your certification. This is a one-day course.

Programme
The Basic emergency response training lasts two days and offers a good mix of theory and practice. You will learn, among other things:
- Tasks of a company emergency response officer
- Applying bandages
- Resuscitation
- Rautek transportation method
- First aid when the patient is unresponsive and not breathing normally
- First aid for other injuries
- Communication in an emergency
- Containing and fighting fire in its early stages
- Evacuation: what, who and how?
- When and how to use an AED
