Aim and result

This training is specifically for offshore employees and is always tailored to your specific needs. This also applies to your mandatory NOGEPA First Aid training.

As an offshore first aider, you are the designated person to respond effectively and quickly during an accident to bridge the gap until medical evacuation arrives, for example by helicopter. While a doctor is available onshore 24/7 for advice, it's crucial that an offshore first aider possesses extensive medical knowledge. After completing the four-day offshore first aid training, you will have this knowledge and know how to apply it in practice. This will ensure you are well-prepared for your work.

If you successfully complete this training, you will receive a certificate which is valid for one year. You will then be authorized to perform certain procedures under the instructions of the backup doctor.

Refresher Training

To maintain your knowledge and skills, as well as your qualifications and competencies, you will attend an annual refresher course. This is a two-day training.
